When one talk about taiwan noodle, the first thing that comes to mind is Beef Noodle. Taiwan is very famous for their beef noodle and for the moment being, this is the best beef noodle that i can find at the moment.
Other than the beef noodle, their chicken noodle is also very delicious. One thing is like about this shop is their serving comes with lotsa vegetables like carrot, turnips n also lettuce. It makes the soup very very soup. If you go for the dry beef or chicken noodle, some stew potatoes and long beans are served together with it. Besides, some fry garlic is sprinkled on top to complement the noodles.
In addtion, pancake with butter and honey will be served during tea time, starting from 3pm – 6pm. I personally like the pancake very much as it’s sweet and the side is crunchy. For the vegetarians, they served noodle soup as well, the serving is like the chicken noodle soup (as seen in the picture), just that without chicken.
As it business expands, they just opened a new branch around ampang point, just right behind habib jewels.

If u’re looking for Hong Kong style (fine texture) porridge, this is the place you should never miss out ! Situated beside a busy road, Jalan Tun H.S. Lee, the stall sells three types of porridge which are fish, chicken and pork intestine porridge.
All of the three has its own specialty. For instance, the fish used are very fine sliced of raw fish which will be cook once you dip it or pour it in the “boiling” porridge. For the pork intestine porridge, you can ask for additional minced pork balls or deep fry intestine! In addition, the steamed chicken with oyster sauce is also tantalising (ask for more gravy so that u can mix it in the porridge)! The porridge texture u find here is very very fine and has a sweetened taste, i wonder whether they have added in chicken stock !!

Good news for all the vegetarian fans ! I found a restaurant in Kuchai Lama which serves extremely delicious vegetarian food. They have a variety of food ranging from “man-made” chicken, duck, fish …. etc … they even serve sharks’s fin! If u’re thinking that vegetarian shark fin is cheap then u’re wrong! It costs about RM20 – RM 30(can’t really remember the price) for that small bowl ! Let me know how it taste if u ever try it !
I ordered a “Pei Pa Duck”, Salted Deep Fry Lotus and also Asam Fish … All these three dishes has a unique taste … they really have have the taste of the real duck, and fish ! The deep fry lotus is best served as a snack after meals. It’s crunchy and abit salty.
Overall, it’s a nice vegetarian restaurant and it’s not very expensive for all the dishes (unless you order the shark fin lahh … )
