Waffles is something that i always have a passion in … a shopping trip in one utama has indirectly brought me to this Waffle World to get a try ….

However, they ran out of the fried seafood pasta (some chef recommendation), so I ordered a mix of American hotdog (RM4), Fish and chips (RM14.90), Fettucine carbonara (RM10.30) and of course, Banana walnut waffles (RM6.80) ! all of which are supposedly nice/popular, according to waiter’s recommendations.

Hmm… hot dog is normal and no big deal. Fish and chips is reasonable portion and fish batter does taste of old oil, meaty. Pasta was mediocre and non-meat. Possibly i’m a meat eater, thus these “vegtarian pasta somehow doesn’t taste right for me ! Besidea, there wasn’t enough sauce, thus too dry.

Comparing it to A&W waffles, i would definitely recommend u take the A&W one which is nicer … Hot dog wise, fo gor 1901 … they served really good hot dogs and i would say they’re the expert in it! :> I would try to get some shots for the A&W waffles and 1901 hot dogs next time …

“Satay (also written saté) is a dish that may have originated in Sumatra or Java in Indonesia but is popular in many southeast Asian countries such as Malaysia, Singapore and Thailand. In the East Coast of Peninsular Malaysia, satay is a breakfast dish while elsewhere in Malaysia it is eaten in the evening.” (taken from Wikipedia)

Chicken Satay

Kajang satay is so well-known among the malaysians. In kajang, there’re about 8-12 satay stalls, but the Hj. Samuri one is still the best. Located near the kajang stadium,This family oriented business has gained the loyalty of lotsa satay fans from all over Malaysia and also foreign visitors. Their peanut satay sauce that comes with the satay is the most delicious part. The specialty is that you can mix it with some sambal. They give generous portion of the sauce. They provide a variety of satay like chicken, chicken liver, mutton, beef, beef tribe, fish as well as deer and rabbit.

As years pass by, they have expanded and have a few brand in some highway rest bay, like the kesas highway (awan besar & kinrara), restoran jejambat Sg Buloh (PLUS highway), and also one in Bangi. For those who want to have a truly, deeply, madly satay experience at a reasonable price, Satay Kajang Hj Samuri branches is a MUST VISIT.

Yuen Buffet Steamboat

Namely “Yuen” Buffet Steamboat, it’s a right place to go if u’re looking for cheap, tantalising, and varieties in buffet steamboat!

Mix Soup Steamboat

They served tomyam and normal vege soup as the steamboat base. You can asked for a mix (as depict in the picture) or only one. I don’t quite like the tomyam soup base probably it’s not the “thai style tomyam” which is spicy and sour. This is what i called the “chinese tomyam”! :>

They have a variety of vegetables, chicken meat, squids, fish balls, beef balls, whatever balls, u name it, n …. many many more …. They even have escargo. The most famous dish here is their HONEY CHICKEN WING! To get a bite of it, you have to be really alert, as the moment it’s served, sight of ppl rushing to it will be seen! :> It is a must that you have a taste of it when u visit this buffet steamboat restaurant. If you miss it, u’ll have to wait for the next round.

On top of that, they provide desserts as well, some local “kuih”, fruits and also some ice-cream! You’ll have a really complete meal here, No regrets for sure!

They open only for dinner time. I would prefer making reservation if i decide to go on weekends for late dinner. As it’s always very pack as early as 5.30pm. Their peak hours which is from 7pm-9pm, you most proably have to queue up outside tb4 getting a seat and mind you, it’s a long queue :>!

After the meal, you possibly can drop by Sunway Pyramid to have a movie! or i would rather suggest that you have a movie first b4 you have your dinner. As you’ll definitely have a bursty tummy!
